Poultry it is one of the most preferred meat, being easy to cook, low in fats and rich in proteins. Romania it has increased, in the last decade, the poultry processing capacities. Still the country it is not self sufficient and volumes are imported from Europe and South America.
One of our tasks it is to move the surplus of chicken and turkey breast meat from Romania, Bulgaria, Poland to Western European countries, where white meat it is preferred versus the leg meat.
